He said, “The people have elected us again and broken the trend of a party not repeating its government for a second consecutive term in Uttarakhand. Dhami said in the meeting that his government had started work from the first day to implement the promises made in the party’s election manifesto. He spoke about the progress made towards implementation of Uniform Civil Code, change made in the old-age pension scheme, introduction of corruption-free app 1064 and other measures taken by the state government in its one month in office so far.
Talking to the media persons after the meeting, Kaushik said that Rekha Verma, Ajaey, cabinet minister Chandan Ram Das, Kailash Sharma and Deepti Rawat along with the former MLA of Champawat who had recently resigned, Kailash Gahtodi have been appointed to various positions in the team which will work on different aspects in the bypoll. The party is determined to win the Assembly bypoll by a thumping margin.
