BJP Govt a failure in only nine months: Pritam Singh

In a massive show of strength, senior Congress leader and MLA from Chakrata, Pritam Singh organised a protest against the government in Dehradun on Monday. On the call given by Singh, a large number of Congress leaders and the workers gathered at the Rangers Ground. Addressing the gathering, Singh said that the people of the State gave a massive mandate to the BJP in the Assembly election of 2022 and its government was formed. He said that in the past nine months, the State government has proved to be a failure on all fronts. He said that the Ankita Bhandari murder case has exposed the pathetic condition of law and order situation in the State. He said that the unemployed in the State have been cheated of their right by a series of recruitment scams and the paper leak case of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC). He exhorted the workers of the party to hit the road in protest against the anti-people policies of the government.
The leader of opposition in Uttarakhand Assembly Yashpal Arya, former cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat, deputy leader of Congress legislature party Bhuwan Kapdi, MLAs Vikram Singh Negi, Mamta Rakesh, Furkan Ahmed, Mayukh Mehar, Adesh Chauhan, Sumit Hridayesh, Virendra Jati, former ministers Dinesh Agarwal, Vijay Pal Sajwan and others were present on the occasion.
