In latest news from Uttarakhand, though the schedule of the urban local body poll is yet to be announced a senior BJP leader Premnath Pandit has already thrown himself as the party’s candidate for the post of president of Lalkuan nagar panchayat. He said that as he has been working for the party for the past 30 years he wants to secure this post for BJP.
He has started public contact programme, going from home to home and seeking support.
