Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Bharatiya Janata Party State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam and the party’s State president Mahendra Bhatt held discussions with the party’s Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha Vistaraks here on Saturday. Appreciating the Vistarak programme of the party, he said that these party workers had played an important role in the party’s resounding victory in the parliamentary elections. Dhami said that the party’s victory had been made easier by the Vistaraks who had united and activated the party workers from the booth to the Assembly and parliamentary constituency level and got information about the government’s works and schemes to the public. The Vistarak programme scheme has become an important part of the cadre based organisation, he said. The party leaders also talked to the Vistaraks in detail about the experiences and sought their suggestions for any improvements in the scheme.
Bhatt informed the media that separate discussions were held with the party Vistaraks for the Garhwal, Tehri, Haridwar, Almora and Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar Lok Sabha seats.
