In latest Uttarakhand news, the BJP candidate Parvati Dass was reportedly leading by 2,261 votes over her nearest Congress rival Basant Kumar on completion of the ninth round of counting in the Bageshwar assembly by-election. As per information received from the counting centres, the BJP candidate polled 23420 votes while Congress candidate polled 21, 159 votes at the end of the ninth round of counting.
