The Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha Uttarakhand chairperson Asha Nautiyal and other office bearers met chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and thanked him for the strict anti-copying law introduced in the State.
The Mahila Morcha members also thanked the State government for implementing the ordinance on 30 per cent horizontal reservation for women of Uttarakhand domicile in State government jobs. They opined that the anti-copying law brought by the State government is the most stern in the nation and a commendable step taken in the interests of the State’s youth.
The provision for stringent punishment for those indulging in malpractices in competitive exams in the State will ensure that the recruitment process takes place with transparency and fairness, they said.
