BJP mulling organizational changes to ensure victory in 2024 LS polls

Having formed its new State executive the Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to increase the number of its organizational districts from the current 14 in the State. Addressing the media here on Wednesday, the BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt said that this step is being considered to make the party stronger and prepare in a more effective way for the 2024 parliamentary elections.
The permission of the party’s central leadership has been sought for increasing the number of its organizational districts in the State. He further said that office bearers in all the party’s cells and fronts will be appointed by September 15. He said that organizational developments are being carried out in the party in view of the 2024 elections. With the party focusing on the coming Lok Sabha elections, Bhatt said that all the district-level office bearers will be given the responsibility of booth management.
Further, by making some more improvements in the strategy used for the Champawat Assembly bypoll, the party will use it to contest the Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand. The party’s MPs will also be accorded responsibility to ensure the party’s victory from the Assembly constituencies where the party had lost.
