BJP receives 78k suggestions for vision document
Party to analyse & incorporate pertinent suggestions in manifesto

The Bharatiya Janata Party has received 78,610 suggestions through its 120 suggestions boxes and online for its Assembly election vision document. Haridwar MP, former Union minister and ex-chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ who is also the coordinator for the vision document, said this at the conclusion of the party’s campaign to collect public suggestions on Friday. He said that the party is committed to draft its vision document with the involvement of the general public. The BJP is the only party which prepares its election manifesto considering the opinion of the common people, he claimed.
Addressing the party workers on the occasion, Nishank said that the BJP had created Uttarakhand and was committed to nurturing it. Referring to the vision document, he said that it will be unique as it will be the vision of the public for the people. The suggestions of people from scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, other backward class, farmers, labourers and others will be analysed to draft the document. “Among Himalayan states, Uttarakhand is considerably ahead of others. The special affection that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has for Uttarakhand is evident on the ground. PM Modi has clearly said that Atal ji made Uttarakhand and we will together nurture it,” he said.
Informing about the suggestion Nishank said that 51,279 suggestions had been received through suggestion boxes and 27,331 had been received online totaling to 78,610 suggestions.
BJP State vice president Anil Goel said that the BJP is consistently working in a democratic system while also presenting its report card to the public periodically. Party’s state vice presidents Jyoti Prasad Gairola, Devendra Bhasin and Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal among others were also present on the occasion.
