In latest Uttarakhand news, the BJP candidate Parvati Dass has won the Bageshwar assembly by-election, defeating her Congress rival Basant Kumar by a margin of 2810 votes. Though the counting process has been completed, the result is yet to be officially announced. Meanwhile, the BJP has started celebrating the bypoll victory and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the people of Bageshwar.
