BJP set to win most ULB seats in State, claims Bhatt

The Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt has claimed that the party is set to win most of the seats in the urban local body elections. He also appealed to the public to vote for a ‘triple-engine’ government in order to bring uniformity in the pace of development across the State.

Addressing party workers while touring the Garhwal region during the ULB poll campaign, the BJP State chief said that the people have decided to vote for the BJP and that the party only has to communicate its message to them. The manner in which Prime Minister Narendra Modiis facilitating development of the nation, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is taking the State forward, he said. “The people have experienced the pace of development under the triple-engine government wherever our municipal heads and councillors were in office. Even in the local bodies where we were not in a decisive position, the double-engine government undertook unprecedented works. In these ULB elections, we have to form the third government at the local level of the BJP so that the entire State moves forward on the developmental path at the same pace to achieve the vision of a developed Uttarakhand soon,” Bhatt said.

During the campaign in Chamoli district, he attended programmes in Tharali and Nandanagar areas. Bhatt held road shows, public outreach programmes and organisational meetings to appeal to the public to vote for the party candidates.
