Reacting sharply to the questions posed by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has said that the BJP should first answer hundreds of questions asked by Gandhi on misuse of central agencies, Adani scam and Hindenburg revelations. He said that the BJP is upset over Congress’s alliance with National Conference (NC) for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections but this is the same party with which it had an alliance for a long time. NC leader Farooq Abdullah was a Union minister in the BJP government. He said that the BJP also had an alliance with Mehbooba Mufti’s party PDP whose connections with terrorist organizations has been proved.
Accusing the BJP of adopting double standards in politics, the PCC president said that the Congress party always fights for the rights of the people in every state. He said that the Congress has always worked for the strength, unity and integrity of the country by taking the common people along. Mahara added that the Congress does not need a certificate of patriotism from BJP.
Mahara said that former J & K governor Satyapal Malik had made serious allegations regarding the Pulwama attack, the answers to which have not been received by the public till date. He said that brave soldiers of Uttarakhand are getting martyred in Jammu and Kashmir but the BJP government is maintaining a silence on it.
The BJP government should answer how China has encroached upon our land on the Arunachal border and set up permanent constructions there. “Who gave the contract of trillions of rupees to Chinese companies? Why was the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ordered from China, ‘’ he asked.
