The Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha State president Asha Nautiyal has thanked the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the formation of a committee to ensure women protection in the State. Claiming that the State government is working seriously for the protection of women in the State, she said that the committee formed under the deputy inspector general of police to ascertain steps to ensure the safety of women is a commendable step.
Nautiyal claimed that this step shows the sensitivity of the State government towards ensuring the safety of women. She averred the State government is taking steps towards further strengthening the system for ensuring the safety of women in Uttarakhand.She further said that the committee formed by the State government will strengthen the efforts of the government to ensure the safety of women further and ensure strict action against those who commit crimes against women. Nautiyal further claimed that the BJP is committed to ensure women empowerment and their protection while also ensuring strict action against those who commit crimes against women.
