BJP to hold events to publicise Modi Govt’s achievements

The Bharatiya Janata Party has finalised the various programmes it will undertake this month to mark eight years of the Union government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP State president Madan Kaushik, party State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, State general secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar and other leaders met at the party’s State office on Thursday to discuss the planned events under its ‘8 Saal Bemisaal’ programme. Instructions were issued to effectively disseminate information about the achievements of the Modi government to all sections of society. Rallies, public meetings and public contact events will be held in all the districts as part of this programme. All the MPs, MLAs, public representatives, mayors, municipality chairpersons and Panchayat heads will undertake public contact programmes totaling in duration to 75 hours. The party’s Kisan Morcha will hold meets in every Mandal till June 6 while tree plantation and women’s meets will be held to mark world environment day on June 5. The party’s scheduled caste cell will hold Ambedkar Chaupal in each zone on June 6 while the minority cell will contact families from June 6 to 8. The party’s scheduled tribe cell will organise Bhagwan Birsa Munda Sammelan on June 7 while its OBC cell will hold meets in the zones on June 9. The MLA/public representatives meeting will be held on June 13 while the Yuva Morcha will hold bike rallies in the 252 Mandals of the party from June 13 to 15. It was further decided that the party’s office bearers and all public representatives will undertake public contact throughout the first fortnight of June to inform the public about the achievements of the Modi government in eight years. They will also work to resolve any issues being faced by beneficiaries in accessing their right to the government’s welfare schemes and decisions. The party’s State general secretaries Rajendra Bhandari, Kuldeep Kumar and Suresh Bhatt were also present in the meeting.
