BJP to launch special campaign to mark 9 years of Modi government

The Bharatiya Janata Party will undertake a special public relations campaign headed by its members of parliament to mark competition of nine years by the BJP government at the Centre under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to party sources, the BJP central leadership will monitor this campaign as part of which various programmes will be held to communicate with beneficiaries of government schemes, various sections of society and senior party workers across the State.

The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that the NDA government under PM Modi will complete nine years in office on May 30. To mark this occasion, the party will undertake a special campaign from May 15 to June 15, which was also mentioned by Modi in the parliamentary group meeting on March 27. The PM had mentioned then that elaborate communication with the public will be held across the nation along with communication with beneficiaries, various sections of society and senior workers as part of the campaign.

The MPs will play an important role in this campaign. In the duration of one month, they will undertake an elaborate public relations campaign in their constituency and raise public awareness about the works done by the Central and State governments through various programmes. Special focus will be made on making this campaign inclusive and contacting all sections of society through it. The party will contact professional fraternities like teachers, lawyers, engineers, sportspersons, artists and businessmen along with religious leaders, ex-servicemen, social workers and journalists.

Various schemes of the government will be exhibited and publicised in a novel manner and special communication will be held with their beneficiaries. A special part of the campaign will be interaction with new voters to discuss the India of the future. All the MPs will participate in programmes in their constituencies and inform about the works done by the government for the farmers, labourers, the poor, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, backward classes, specially abled, senior citizens, women, youths and rural development.
