The Bharatiya Janata Party State general secretary (organisation) Ajaey discussed various aspects of the party’s “Seva Pakhwada” (service fortnight) with State and district level media office bearers of the party on Saturday. He exhorted them to spread information about the works of the State government and the party organisation through the print, electronic and social media to elicit focus on positive works done in the society.
Addressing the party office bearers in a virtual meeting, Ajaey directed them to ensure maximum publicity through the media of the “Seva Pakhwada” fortnight being organised from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 till October 2. He said, “Putting the negative discussions in the media, especially social media, we have to present before the public the public welfare works of the State and Central governments along with the thoughts and constructive works of the party organisation to elicit focus on the good works in society.” He said that all the office bearers and their colleagues need to become as active as possible on various social media platforms. Proper replies according to the party line will also have to be given to those attempting to spread confusion and propaganda in the public on such subjects, he said. All the works done during the fortnight should be publicised through various media and also uploaded on the NaMo app, added Ajaey.
The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan told the office bearers that it is a collective responsibility to ensure maximum discussion on the good works of the government and party organisation. He requested that all important information should be shared to ensure better coordination between the State and district units of the organisation so that information about the works of the government and party reach the ground level. Party leaders Suresh Joshi, Balraj Passi, Ajendra Ajay, Shahdab Shams and others also participated in the meeting.
