BJP to plant 5 lakh trees across State- Kaushik

The Bharatiya Janata Party State president Madan Kaushik requested the party workers to ensure that each of them plants at least one tree.

Speaking after planting a sapling in the party’s state office on Saturday, Kaushik said that the party had set a target of planting a total of five lakh trees to mark Harela across the State. Twenty trees will be planted by the party in each booth, he said. Kaushik further said that protecting and improving the environment is a collective responsibility. He stressed on the need for maximisation of tree plantation for this purpose.

The BJP State vice president Devendra Bhasin, general secretary Suresh Bhatt and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
