After the reopening of the road to Badrinath, a team from the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) reached the temple township on Wednesday to check the condition of Badrinath. The BKTC CEO in-charge Sunil Tiwari headed the team which reached Badrinath to assess the damage caused by snowfall, need for repairs, painting and other works. The BTKC media in-charge Harish Gaur informed that with the committee team inspect the situation in the temple township, temple employees and labourers will soon reach Badrinath to spruce up the arrangements before the reopening of the temple. The portals of Badrinath temple are slated to be reopened to the public May 8.
