During Vigilance Awareness Campaign being organised by Bank of India that commenced on September 15, a string of awareness activities is being hosted in the Dehradun zone and 38 branches across Uttarakhand. The campaign will end on November 15. Informing this on Monday, the zonal manager Vivek Tiwari said that as the precursor of the Vigilance Awareness Week, the rural and semi-urban branches under the zone had hosted 116 awareness gram sabhas during which the villages were briefed about various types of frauds and preventive measures.
Besides, a capacity building workshop was organised for newly recruited officers by the Dehradun zonal office where senior officers took sessions on different aspects of banking.
