The book ‘From the Pen of Surgeons’ written jointly by Padma Shri recipient Orthopaedic surgeon Dr B K S Sanjay and Dr Gaurav Sanjay was released by the Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and Union Minister of State for Road Transport and National Highways Ajay Tamta at India’s first Writer’s Village. Among others who attended the programme was the Speaker, Uttarakhand Assembly, Ritu Khanduri. The book covers various health, education, nutrition and social issues prevailing in India, Dr Sanjay said, adding that the preface of this book had been written by the director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration and historian Sanjeev Chopra This book has been published by Prabhat Prakashan and available on various online books portal.
