Booklet released to mark celebration of Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha

As part of its centenary year celebration, Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha Punjab, New Delhi, organised the four-day Shri Ashtottari Shatchandi Path and Mahayagya at Sapt Rishi Ashram Bhupatwala. The programme commenced with Ganga worship to mark the occasion of Ganga Saptami and ended with rituals and holy dip in Ganga
On this occasion, a special booklet Sanatan Sanvardhini, published by the Sabha, was released by Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj of Shri Panch Dasnam Juna Akhara. In his address, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj said that Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha has been promoting spirituality and education with schools and colleges being run by the Sabha in different states of the country where education imbued with Indian culture is being imparted.
The national president of the Sabha, Deshbandhu said that the centenary year of the Sabha had been started with Ashtottari Shatchandi Yajna as well as recitation of Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa and Ganga aarti. He further said that various programmes would be organised across the country throughout this year. “Competitions will be organised in all the schools across the country,” he said, adding that the closing ceremony of the Sabha will be celebrated in February next year on a large scale in Haridwar, preparations for which have already started.
Notably, the Sabha made special arrangements for the education of the children of the displaced people in different states after the partition under the direction of Goswami Ganesh Dutt.
