In latest news from Uttarakhand, in continuing clampdown on the criminals and crimes ahead of the general election slated on April 9, police nabbed a fugitive duo engaged in drug smuggling from Kotdwar under the Gangsters Act. The couple has been identified as Banti Chandra and Sakshi, both residents of Kotdwar. According to police, the couple would collect smacks from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and sell them at much higher prices in Uttarakhand.
