In a historic achievement, Uttarakhand’s boxers- Nivedita Karki, Kapil Pokharia and Narendra Kumar- clinched a coveted gold medal each for the State at the ongoing 38th National Games. Additionally, Kajal and Himanshu Solanki won silver medals in various boxing events held, further boosting the State’s medal tally. Sounding elated over the achievement, Karki said that this was a proud moment for them as well as the State. She ascribed the success to hard work and dedication.
