Budget to play role in making U’khand leading State by 2025: Nishank

Former chief minister and the current MP of Haridwar, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that the budget passed recently in the Assembly in Gairsain is historic and will help achieve the aim of making this Uttarakhand’s decade under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance.
Addressing the media at the Bharatiya Janatar Party State office here on Saturday, Nishank said that the provisions made in the budget show that the State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is moving in a decisive manner towards making Uttarakhand a leading State by 2025. This budget of the BJP government will speed up the development of the State in accordance with public aspirations and will fulfill the resolve of developing an empowered Uttarakhand by 2025. He expressed happiness stating that the budget was surplus by Rs 4,309 crore and with other aspects shows efficient financial management.
He said that this budget is balanced, inclusive and one which will reach all sections of society while laying special focus on better education to youth and employment through better education on the one hand and also focusing on agriculture, horticulture, rural development, health, tourism and infrastructure. He said that importantly, a provision of Rs 10,495 crore has been made for education, sports and youth welfare in the budget.
