A bus carrying 40 passengers met with an accident near Roorkee on the Delhi-Haridwar Highway. The bus coming from Muzaffarnagar depot fell into a ditch while trying to save a car that was coming from the opposite direction. Three of the passengers, including the bus driver, sustained injuries and they were admitted to Roorkee Civil Hospital while other passengers’ injuries were minor. The driver of the car fled after the incident. The passengers of the bus completed their journey on another bus.
