In latest news from Doon, 12 proposals were approved at the cabinet meeting-the first one after the Lok Sabha election- presided over by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Secretariat. Proposals related to many departments, including urban development, housing, finance, revenue, personnel, planning and higher education, were taken up for discussion and then approved. It is learnt that a total of 12 proposals came up in the meeting and were then approved.
The cabinet approved the Uttarakhand Integrated Metropolitan Transport Authority Bill 2024 meant to enhance the transport system in the urban areas of the State. Approval of the rules concerning ministerial personnel in various authorities of the Housing department was given at the meeting.
