Cabinet meeting decides to place bill in Assembly for 4% sports quota

In latest news from Dehradun, after the cabinet meeting chaired by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was over, while briefing the media persons on the highlights of the meeting, the State chief secretary said that the conveyance allowance of the State government officers and employees, including the assistant engineers, would be revised. Besides, a bill would be introduced in the assembly providing the sportspersons four per cent reservation in the government jobs. The cabinet also approved a proposal of video-graphing and photographing of the mining sites to ensure that no extra mining is done. Further, those on maternity leave would be entitled to get full salary during the period of the leave for two years. About five bigha land in the old jail premises has been handed over to the Bar Association of Dehradun for 30 years on lease.
