In latest news from Dehradun, a crucial State cabinet meeting to be chaired by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is all set to be held at the Secretariat during which a number of important matters is expected to be taken up for discussion and approval. As per information received from the administrative officers, among the issues likely to be discussed include the service sector policy which may be given the seal of approval and the new apple policy firmed up by the horticulture department. Besides, discussion is likely to be held on the proposals put forward on a slew of subjects pertaining to health, housing, forest, revenue, education and urban development. Importantly, the cabinet meeting may finalise the dates of the monsoon assembly session which must be held in September as per the Constitutional norms of holding session within six months since the previous session.
