In latest news from Doon, against the backdrop of the Election Commission expected to unveil the Lok Sabha election schedule any day, the State cabinet is poised to give its seal of approval on a string of important projects during the meeting being chaired by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Secretariat. As per the insiders, approval might be given to the amended service manual of the basic teachers and the State’s maiden service sector policy. Besides, the proposal to allow people to fell trees in their own premises might be discussed and approved. Plus, the cabinet is likely to brainstorm on issues involving a host of departments like health, education, tourism, housing and urban development.
