Three female cadets of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Women’s battalion of Doon University will take part in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26. These cadets have been selected after a rigorous training.
Expressing happiness, the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the university Surekha Dangwal said that it is a proud moment that Aditi Joshi, Priya Pandey, and Mithali have been selected for the Republic Day parade. It is a reflection of their hard work and dedication. She said that students from different parts of the country take part in the parade which gives a chance to the participants to learn many things from one another. Dangwal said that the university hosted many programmes on women empowerment in the last one year. The NCC in-charge, Doon University Smita Tripathi said that the performance of other NCC cadets of the university has also remained praiseworthy.
