In a road accident on Dehradun-Haridwar National Highway, a speeding car hit the NH bridge after colliding with another car. The car was coming from Dehradun and the incident occurred near Lachhiwala toll plaza. Following the collision, the car overturned on the road, damaging an NH pole. The eye witnesses said that the driver was drunk and was trying to overtake. The police from Doiwala Kotwali rushed to the spot and both the cars were removed from the road with the help of crane. Those injured were sent to hospital.
