One person was killed in an accident on the Almora-Kausani road in Almora. It is learnt that the accident happened when the car fell into a river with the driver having lost control over the vehicle. As per information received, some villagers under Someshwar police station area saw a car in a river. The villagers then came down near the river and found a body in the car. The car bore the number of Nainital. They informed Someshwar police station about the incident.
