In latest Uttarakhand news, carcass of a tiger was found in the Kalagarh Tiger Reserve in the Corbett National Park. DFO Kalagarh Neeraj Kumar Sharma said that all the organs and the parts of the tiger were found intact. The forest officials said that the tiger might have been killed in territorial fight. Sharma said that the patrolling team had spotted the carcass and then informed the senior officers. The veterinarians were called from Corbett National Park and Kotdwar. The carcass was sent for postmortem and its viscera have been preserved. The vicera will be sent to Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun and Indian Veterinary Research Institute Bareilly for further scientific investigation. Forest officials further informed that the dead tiger was a male one and its age was about seven years.
