Cardiologist and the director, Cath Lab Research & Clinical Trials of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital Dr Tanuj Bhatia has been presented with India’s Best Doctors’ Award at a programme organised by Brand Impact where seven renowned doctors of the country were chosen for this honour in recognition of their outstanding contribution in the discipline of Cardiology. Informing this on Thursday, the SMI Hospital sources said that Bhatia had saved the highest number of lives of serious patients of Acute Heart Attack in the country by following the Avis Protocol.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatia said that lives of thousands of heart patients could be saved globally by using the Avis Protocol. The chairman, SMI Hospital, Mahant Devendra Das congratulated Bhatia for the achievement.
