Police arrested three persons, including the caretaker of a homestay in Bhimtal, for allegedly attempting to rape the maid of a tourist. The tourist said in a complaint lodged at Bhimtal police station that along with his friends, the caretaker of the homestay where he was staying had attempted to rape the maid who had come with him. Police registered the complaint under relevant sections of IPC and on the order of the circle officer Bhimtal, a police team was formed to arrest the accused. The accused trio was arrested. They are Kishore Ram, Roshan Lal and Deep Chandra.
