In latest news from Uttarakhand, in view of unidentified people damaging benches, swings and statues installed in the children’s park in District Sports Academy ground as part of the civic body’s beautification programmes, the municipality administration has decided to install 31 CCTV cameras across the town to detect the miscreants. Informing this, the municipality’s executive officer Rahul Anand said that though they have approached several companies and organisations for adopting the park, none has agreed, given its condition.
