Central Bank opens women’s branch in Clement Town

The managing director and chief executive officer of Central Bank of India, M V Rao inaugurated the women’s branch in Clement Town to promote women empowerment in the banking sector during his two-day Doon visit that ended on Wednesday. He exhorted the staff members to motivate as many women as possible to take advantages being made available to them. During the inauguration, Rao was accompanied by the zonal head, Delhi, Shishram Tundwal and regional head, Dehradun, Ram Pramod Anand.
Moreover, Rao addressed the staff of the bank’s Dehradun regional office and the staff members of 41 branches in the auditorium of D A V PG College. He further awarded the top performing branches operating under Dehradun zone.
Rao urged the staff to show utmost honesty while dealing with the customers to win their trust. He also planted saplings in the main branch premises.
