A centurion Ram Bhajan Mata (113) cast vote along her husband for the Haridwar Municipal Corporation election at the booth set up at Sanatan Dahrma School in Kharkhari here on Thursday. She had renounced life and became an ascetic some years ago. Beaming after exercising her franchise, she said that she never failed to cast vote whether it was Lok Sabha, assembly or local body election. Appreciating the centurion’s democratic awareness, the district magistrate Karmendra Singh said that all should follow her example.
