With an objective to solve the health problems of women, the Century Pulp and Paper Mill started a free weekly medical consultation and treatment camp on Gynaecology and Obstetrics here on Friday.
The chief financial officer Mahendra Harit and manager SK Vajpayee of Century Pulp and Paper Limited along with the mill’s chief executive officer Ajay Gupta inaugurated the maiden camp. Among the dignitaries present was the chief medical officer Sunil Kumar Madhwar.
In this camp, the health of 62 women was thoroughly examined and they were also given proper advice for staying healthy.
Addressing the camp, Madhwar welcomed the mill’s initiative and said that specialist doctors would examine and treat female and other patients at the weekly free medical camp at Century Mill’s dispensary.
Dr Seema Madhwar who was also present in the camp said that if the female members of anyone’s family complain of menstruation-related unease they should come to the weekly free OPD and get themselves examined by gynaecologists.
In the first camp, Gynaecologist and Obstetrician of Krishna Hospital, Rudrapur Dr Ruby examined the patients.
