The Century Pulp and Paper Mill formally launched its mobile medical van to facilitate medical facilities in distant rural areas on Saturday. The local MLA Mohan Singh Bisht and the mill’s chief executive officer Vijay Kaul jointly flagged off the medical van. The operation of this medical van will help residents of remote rural areas where medical camps will be held for those in need. Kaul said that the mill management always aims to play a proactive role in facilitate the development of the region. The purpose behind operation of this mobile medical van is to organise medical camps from time to time in distant rural areas to provide medical health facilities to the general public living in such areas.
The mill’s HR head Arun Prakash Pande, general manager Naresh Chandra and other officials were also present on the occasion.
