Chairperson, Venkateshwara group felicitated with Bharat Shikhar Samman

The eminent educationist and chairperson of the Venkateshwara group of institutions Sudhir Giri was felicitated with Bharat Shikhar Samman for his contribution in the fields of higher education, medical education, vocational education, health and other social sectors at a function held in New Delhi. While conferring the award on him, the Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the educational institutions and the educationists have instrumental roles in materialising the vision of Developed India by 2047. They would help India become the global leader through unleashing the power of research and innovations under the framework of the New Education Policy, he added. While receiving the award, Giri said that Shri Venkateshwara University is standing in the vanguard of the nation’s progress towards attaining the status of a developed country by 2047 as envisioned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Among the dignitaries present at the felicitation programme were the Union minister R K Singh and Acharya Balkrishna.
