A historic victory in a well contested match to enter the final of Champions Trophy 2025. India defeated Australia by 4 wickets in the first semifinal of Champions Trophy in Dubai on Tuesday. Virat Kohli’s  84-run knock down Australia in Dubai.

The Rohit Sharma-led side chased down a target of 265 runs in 48.1 overs. Virat Kohli (84) Shreyas Iyer (45) Hardik Pandya (28) and KL Rahul (42 not out) played crucial roles. Earlier, after getting an invitation to bowl first, disciplined bowling helped India pack out Australia for 264.
