Chandan Hospital achieves five national & international healthcare accreditations

Chandan Hospital, Haldwani, has achieved five national and international healthcare accreditations and certifications. The hospital’s CEO Dr Parvez Ahmad informed that the hospital has successfully obtained National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) accreditation— aligned with internationally recognised healthcare quality and patient safety standards along with National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation — ensuring international standards in laboratory quality and accuracy.
The hospital has also received the Dialysis Accreditation (Quality Accreditation Institute – QAI) — recognising excellence in dialysis care and patient safety practices, the CSSD Certification (Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations – CAHO) — based on WHO standards for sterilisation and infection prevention practices. Further, it has received the NABH Emergency Certification— validating excellence in emergency care services and preparedness.
Ahmad said that these recognitions reflect the hospital’s adherence to stringent standards in patient care, infection prevention and control, clinical protocols, emergency preparedness, biomedical waste management, laboratory quality assurance and overall hospital governance.
