Change in CM’s photo causing delay in Kit distribution?

The kit containing medicines, thermometer and oximeter is given to patients in home isolation
In an incident which puts a question mark on the functioning of the health department and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Dehradun many workers were found replacing the picture of former chief minister (CM) of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat with that of incumbent CM Tirath Singh Rawat on the home isolation kits for the Covid-19 patients. It is worth mentioning here that contrary to the claims of the health department of prompt distribution of kits many patients in home isolation are complaining that they are receiving the kits three to four days after testing positive for Covid-19. On Friday when some media persons visited the CMO officer of Dehradun they found about two dozen Anganwadi workers pasting the picture of new CM over that of the old CM on the kits. The process which apparently is unnecessary at this point of crisis is obviously taking time and could be one of the causes of the delay in distribution of kit.
The state government provides free kits to the patients of Covid-19 in home isolation. Apart from guidelines which the patients and their caretakers must observe during the period of isolation contains medicines, masks, sanitizer, a thermometer and a pulse oximeter. When the CMO of Dehradun Dr Anoop Dimri was contacted by The Pioneer his phone went unanswered.
