Char Dham shrines visited by nearly 15 lakh pilgrims

Nearly 15 lakh pilgrims have visited the Char Dham shrines so far. According to information provided by the government, a total of 14,67,794 people have visited the Char Dham shrines and the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara. According to the official figures,
2,00,271 have visited Yamunotri, 2,70,503 have visited Gangotri, 4,68,140 have visited Kedarnath and 5,06,189 have visited Badrinath so far. Apart from this, 22,691 persons have visited the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara. The Char Dham Yatra had begun with the reopening of the portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines on May 3 while the Kedarnath and Badrinath shrines were reopened to the public on May 6 and May 8 respectively. Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara was reopened on May 22.
