The district magistrate, Tehri, Mayur Dixit inspected the Purnanand Sports Ground on Omkaranand Bypass Motor Road and the construction works being carried out by the Irrigation department in Muni Ki Reti area.
He directed the officials concerned to complete the work with good quality by the deadline.
He further stressed on removing encroachments and keeping stray animals in the Kanji House before the Char Dham Yatra commences. He said that the district administration is taking all steps to ensure smooth movement of the annual pilgrimage to the four shrines.
