Chargesheet filed against 18 accused in UKSSSC paper leak case

A chargesheet has been filed against 18 accused in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) graduate level recruitment exam leak case on Tuesday. The Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a total of 41 accused in the case out of which, the judicial remand of 21 accused has also been approved under the Gangster Act. The
STF has also nabbed the two main accused of the UKSSSC leak case, Sadiq Moosa and Yogeshwar Rao in Lucknow last week. The STF has also arrested three such accused who are allegedly involved in both UKSSSC and Secretariat Guard exam scams that have unveiled a deep link between these cases. The two accused have also been arrested in the recruitment case of Gram Panchayat Development Officer organised in 2016. A total of Rs 94.79 lakh cash has also been recovered from the arrested accused besides freezing Rs 30 lakh in over a dozen of bank accounts. Along with this, in the year 2020, a detailed investigation was also handed over to the STF m for copying the gang through Bluetooth in the Forest Guard (Forest Guard) examination.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that a full proof plan has been prepared by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission to conduct Group C exams in the election mode across the State.
