Taking strong exception to the state spokesperson of BJP, Munna Singh Chauhan’s comment that the allegations of corruption on Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat are a criminal conspiracy of the Congress Party, the spokesperson of the Uttarakhand Congress, Garima Dasauni has said that the statement is an insult of judiciary. She said that the statement shows that the BJP spokesperson has no faith in the judicial system of the country.
The Congress leader said that since Chauhan is the state spokesperson of a national party, the High Court (HC) should take the cognizance of the statement and send him contempt notice. She added that the way the BJP leaders are celebrating the Supreme Court (SC) order gives an impression that CM Rawat has been absolved from all the allegations of corruption which is far from reality.
