A Chemotherapy Day Care centre started at the Mahant Indiresh Hospital here on Tuesday. Here the cancer patients would be given chemotherapy without admitting them.
The centre was inaugurated by the Principal Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dr Anil Kumar Mehta and Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Anil Kumar Dhawan.
The medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Dhawan said that on the first day two female patients were given chemotherapy in the centre under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
