CIRC hosts animal health camp at Karghata

The Central Institute for Research on Cattle (CIRC), funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Meerut, organised a farmer training programme and animal health camp in Karghata village in Udham Singh Nagar district.  The head of the department of Animal Obstetrics and Veterinary Medicine of GBP University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) Shiv Prasad inaugurated the camp and threw light on the finer points of animal management.

The project officer Chandra Bhan Singh conducted the farmer training programme and animal health camp and highlighted the benefits the cattle keepers might derive from it.

Health inspection and treatment of a total of 20 cattle were done in the camp while a total of 50 livestock farmers participated in it.
