PNS/ DEHRADUN

A day before the Uttarakhand State Foundation Day, the State government launched a cleanliness drive led by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Inaugurating the drive, he said that it was being conducted in the memory of those who had been killed in the recent Almora bus mishap. Also, he inaugurated the scanner for defunct street lights installed by the Dehradun Municipal Corporation. One can lodge a non-functioning street light complaint through the scanner to be placed on the lamp post itself.

Dwelling on the saga of development Uttarakhand has seen since it came into being in 2000, he said that the State has been striding fast in multiple fields over the past 24 years. “This prosperity march will continue and the Prime Minister’s vision of this decade belonging to Uttarakhand will be materialised,” he said.
